Jean Kimmes, age 86, Two Rivers passed peacefully Monday, March 3, 2014 at her residence.

Jean was born April 3, 1927 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Fred and Evelyn (Klatt) Keip. She graduated from Washington High School, Two Rivers with the class of 1945. On May 10, 1951 she was united in marriage to Roger Kimmes at Calvary Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on August 10, 2004.

Jean was a bookkeeper for Kimmes Well & Pump of Two Rivers. She was a charter member of Calvary Lutheran Church as well as a member of the Calvary Lutheran Church Quilters and enjoyed playing harp and violin. She attended Bible studies at church and strived to continue her education throughout her life.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law: Kim & Christopher Beloin, Grafton; three sons and daughters-in-law: Roger, Jr. & Sandra Kimmes, Two Rivers; Karl & Sue Kimmes, Two Rivers; Bradley & Gail Kimmes, New Berlin; eleven grandchildren: Bill (Angie) Kimmes, Katie Groelle, Kevin (Abigail) Kimmes, Joe (Christine) Kimmes, Barbara (Brad) Turner, Steven, Christa and Melinda Beloin, and Andrew, Tyler and TJ Pelon; four great grandchildren: Alex & Hailey Kimmes, Mason Groelle and Taylor Vogel; and one brother and sister-in-law: Fred, Jr. & Margaret Keip. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jean was preceded in death by two sisters and brothers-in-law: Elaine & Ivan Belonger and Vivian & Walter Krause.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Calvary Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Kay Richter with burial at Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers at a later date.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
