Susan Kay Preston, age 51, of Wyoming, went to be with her Lord on Friday, June 29, 2012, after a long illness with Lupus and Sjogrens Syndromes. She was preceded in death by her father, James Earl Preston; grandparents, Donald and Ruth (Kooi) Schwalm, and Thomas E. and Erleen (Pickell) Preston; uncle, Thomas Preston, and cousin, Scott Baribeau. Sue is survived and will be dearly missed and loved by her mother, Mrs. Merry Lou (nee Schwalm) Preston of Rockford; daughter, Angela and Sani Imamovic; grandchildren, Hunter Sharp and Amna Imamovic, and step-granddaughter, Medina Imamovic; sisters, Sandra L. (Doug) Davis; niece and nephew, Bryce and Brooklyn Davis and Carol L. Preston, who greatly aided and assisted Susan during her illness; along with her cousin, Jacqueline Riegling; and her brother and best friend, James M. Preston; and nephew, Thomas Preston whom Sue helped to raise; aunts and uncles, Linda (Preston) and Ronald Edwards, Lee Preston, Mrs. Nancy Preston, John and Pamela Schwalm and Donna and Jack Danielson, plus many cousins and friends. Sue was a 1978 graduate of Rockford High School and worked for many years at various electrical and hydraulic supply companies as an outside salesperson. For 12 years she worked as a waitress for Tommy Brann's Steakhouse and Grille on South Division. She was a diligent and highly respected worker. Sue loved her family, home, pool, getting a bargain, watching reality TV and cooking shows, and helping people.
