Robert John Schulte was born in Dunlay, Texas on May 7, 1927, and passed away in Kerrville on April 13, 2014, at the age of 86. Robert was a graduate of Texas A & I University in Kingsville, Texas, and served in the United States Navy from 1945 to 1946. He married Mary Jo Bethea in 1954 and they settled in Dallas where Bob was a purchasing manager for Atlantic Richfield Company. Following Mary Jo's death in 1992, Bob married Florine (Renie) Garrison in 1994, and they lived in Tarpley, Texas. Bob is preceded in death by Mary Jo Schulte, his parents Robert William Schulte and Mary Wengenroth Schulte, and his step-mother, Alice Muennick Schulte. He is survived by his wife, Renie; his brother, Melvin and wife Thelma of Houston; his son, Stephen and wife Catherine of Kerrville; his daughter, Anna Anderson and husband Chris of Lewisville; his daughter, Mary Schulte and Eric Williams of Dallas; his grandchildren, Robert, Scott, and Laura Schulte and Matthew and Nathan Anderson; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 18, 2014, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hondo, Texas.
