WORLAND - Funeral services for Worland resident Donal Lee Hunt, 46, will be conducted at 3 p.m. today, Jan. 16, at Bryant Funeral Home in Worland.
He died Jan. 7, 2004, at Washakie Medical Center.
Born Nov. 12, 1957, in Thermopolis, he was the son of Donal Wurtz and Jessie Hunt; was raised and educated in Thermopolis; and began working in the oil field at age 17.
After eight years in the oil patch, he moved to Seattle and worked for Big O Tires. In 1995, he moved to Worland and was employed by Mel's OK Tires, where he enjoyed his work and friendships.
On April 19, 2002, he married Laura Burke.
His hobbies included hunting, fishing and camping; and attending car races. He loved helping to keep cars running in the pit and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of Worland; two sons, Joshua L. Hunt of Seattle and Erick M. Collins of Miles City, Mont.; daughter, Meliska M. Collins of Miles City; brother, Karl Wurtz of Thermopolis; three sisters, Alice May Schreiber and Lilia Buirchett, both of Thermopolis, and Kathy Tanner of Gillette; and numerous nieces and nephews.
