Jerome Paul "Jerry" Galey was born on August 3, 1935 at Indiana the son of Loren and Ruby Galey and passed away on April 14, 2014 at Fredericktown at the age of 78 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Ethelda Mae Galey whom he was united in marriage to on November 22, 1962 at Mine La Motte, Missouri, one son Kevin Galey, three brothers, and two sisters. He is survived by two sons Rick Jerome Galey who travels the United States as a RV traveler, and Michael Galey-Head; two daughters Becky Alyn Galey-Kiley of Florissant, Missouri and Terri Galey-Head; grandchildren Caleb and Nicole Vaughn, Danielle Vaughn, Caelynn Kutchinski-Galey, and Lanie Wade; and great grandchildren Chloe Vaughn, Jenna Vaughn, and McKenzie Vaughn.

Jerry enjoyed painting, drawing, Wii golf, hunting, fishing, and travelling around the United States in his RV the Princess Caelynn.
