Gail G. Diehl, 78, of Rush, NY, went home to be with the Lord on April 10, 2014.
She was born on December 5, 1935, in Harrisburg, Pa, daughter of the late Joseph G. and Lilla May (Steckley) Goff.
She graduated from Manheim Township High School in Lancaster, Pa, and attended 2 years at Millersville State Teachers College. She resided in Akron, Ohio, for 18 years where she was the supervisor of Customer Service for GOJO industries.
On September 23, 1978, she married Marlin D. Diehl, formerly of Rainsburg, Pa, who survives; they have resided together at their home in Rush, NY, since 1980.
Also surviving are son and daughter-in-law, John and Jayne Gall of Munroe Falls, Ohio, with five grandchildren: Johnny Gall, Jenna and husband Christopher Vespoint, Joseph Gall, Jacqueline Gall, and Jeannie Gall; one great-granddaughter, Lilly Mae Vespoint. A brother, Joseph G. Goff, survives in Lancaster, Pa. Gail attended the United Methodist Church in Honeoye Falls, NY.
She was a wonderful homemaker and cook, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Hobbies were grandchildren, reading, and watching the backyard bird feeders.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 18, 2014, at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Rev. Bruce Ashlock officiating.
Burial at Woods Church Cemetery.
