William came with his parents to Nebraska from Indiana in 1883. His obituary states that he had one son that preceded him in death, but he is survived by John of Whitman; Harvey of Kearney; Walter of Hyannis; William Jr. of Bartlett; Mrs. Mae Fullerton of Alliance; Mrs. Pearle Fletcher of Elsmere and Mrs. Gladys Koch of Bayard. Included are 21 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
William spent most of his married life in Sherman County beginning in 1929. In 1945 he and his wife came to Bayard to make their home with their daughter, Mrs. Koch.
