Herman Freese Funeral Held

Herman Freese, for 23 years a Spokane valley resident, died Saturday in a Spokane nursing home.

Freese was 78 years of age. He had been a farmer here for many years.

He was a member of Opportunity Grange and Opportunity Odd Fellows lodge. He also belonged to the C. J. Newland post of the American Legion and Zion Congregational church. He was a veteran of World War I.

He is survived by two sisters, Helen Freese of Spokane valley and Mrs.Minnie Dettman; and two brothers, George and John Freese of Ritzville.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Thornhill Valley Funeral home in Spokane valley.
