AZLE -- Wanda Eileen Bizzell, 72, retired from the ministry, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2000, at her home.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Azle Church of Christ. Burial: Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Biggers Funeral Home.

Our beloved Wanda Eileen Bizzell was born Nov. 26, 1927, in Norfolk, Neb. She went to be with her Lord on Jan. 22, 2000, at the age of 72. She was the light of life and source of great strength to her husband, family and friends. Wanda devoted her life to serving God. With her husband of 53 years, she did mission work nine years in New Zealand, two years in New York, especially working with young people and training wives of aspiring preachers. Before moving to Azle, they served 18 years with the Meadowbrook and Bridgewood Churches of Christ in Fort Worth. We will miss her deeply, but rejoice in her victory in Jesus.
Survivors: Husband, John Paul Bizzell Jr. of Azle; daughter and son-in-law, Suzzann and Ian Mostert of Azle; son, John Paul Bizzell III of Denver, Colo.; brothers, Norman D. Wood of Tonopah, Ariz., Myron G. Wood of Lowery, Okla., and Leo D. Wood of Tonopah; granddaughters and their husbands, Debra and Shawny Willett of Azle and Christy and James McCarry of Alvin; and great-grandchildren, Brook Suzzann Willett and Justin Ian Willett.
