PALM COAST Betty Whitfield Dexter, 64, of Flintstone Court, an administrative assistant for a law firm, died Wednesday at home.

Mrs. Dexter was born in Red Bay, Ala., and moved to this area six years ago from Fairfax, Va. She was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church and the church choir.

Survivors include her husband, Charles; two daughters, Beth Kemp and Kelly Smith, both of Palm Coast; two brothers, James and Wayne Whitfield, Russellville, Ala.; two sisters, Mary Battani, Woodward, Iowa, and Marie Fortenberry, Conroe, Texas; and two grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to St. Thomas Episcopal Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 350606, 5400 Belle Terre Pkwy., Palm Coast, FL 32135-0606. Coastal Cremation is in charge.
