Kenneth Leslie "Ken" Cross, 42 years young, of Dunbar, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 11, 2014, at CAMC Memorial Hospital after suffering a short time with cancer.

Ken was born Jan. 19, 1972, in Alexandia, Va., and grew up in Elkins with father, Edwin Cross, recently deceased, and mother, Wilda "Willie" Cross, along with brothers, Ernie and Emmett Cross.

He was a 1994 graduate of Davis and Elkins College with a bachelor's degree in science, specializing in computers, math and business. He was an employee of the former State of WV Workers Compensation Commission IT Department and a current employee of Brickstreet Mutual Insurance Co. as a lead computer analyst with IT Web Applications Development. His hobbies included computers, video games, riding his motorcycle, movies, spending time with family, hunting, football and baseball and love of water/ocean, at the beach.

He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Angie (Tucker) Cross; mother, Wilda Cross; brothers, Ernie and Emmett Cross, all of Elkins; sister-in-law, Jackie Cross of Elkins; aunt, "Tiny" Canfield of Elkins; niece, Samantha (Chad) Thomas of Clarksburg, and their daughters, Lindsey, Kristen and Haley; nephew, Pastor Michael (Lynnette) Cross of Elkins; father- and mother-in-law, Fred and Barbara Tucker of Malden; sister-in-law, Christi Shock of Cross Lanes; niece, Macee Shock; and additional aunts uncles and cousins in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with Pastor Michael Cross officiating. Burial was at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
