Anne Manning Lawson, 88, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 14, 2014. Anne was the daughter of the late John and Lillie Manning. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Grady Lawson, and brother, David James Manning. She is survived by her son; Danny Stubbs, (wife Janice) and daughter; Betty Crews, grandchildren; Jeffery, (Jackie), and Chris (Cheryl), Blake, Stacy Hobbs, (Gregg), Max Harrison, (Angelia), Andrew, Charlie, and John Crews, Corey Blake, and Amber Blake, great grandchild; Tucker Blake, very special friend, Reba Caulder, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lawson was a member of Wrightsville Ave. Church of God. She dearly love the Lord, and also her cats, and dog, "Rocky." A loving, giving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Anne will be greatly missed by all whose lives she has touched. Funeral services for Mrs. Lawson will be 2:00pm, on Friday, April 18, 2014, at Wrightsville Ave. Church of God. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, (1:00-2:00pm), with interment to follow at Oleander Memorial Gardens. Coble Ward-Smith Oleander Chapel is honored to serve the Lawson family.
