He was born in Rockport, W.Va., a son of the late Harry T. and Gail (Hickenbottom) Frame.
Along with his wife, he built and operated Redwood Restaurant for years, and was also a partner with her in many other businesses. He was a Baptist by faith and attended many churches in the area.
He is survived by his son, Dr. Ronald D. Frame (Karen) of Little Hocking, Ohio; grandson, Dr. Ronald D. Frame II (Amy) of Little Hocking; granddaughter, Dr. Joanna Frame Knapp (Todd) of Belpre; and seven great-grandchildren, Cadence, Lacey and Jillian Frame of Little Hocking and Grace, Sophie, Anderson and Robert Knapp of Belpre.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice E. (Rogers) Frame; brother, Roland Thomas Frame; and sister, Bonnie Gail Medley.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre, with Pastor Richard Smith officiating. Burial will be at Rockland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Friday.
