Carole Stahly, daughter of Rudolph and Etta (Winter) Stahly was born March 22, 1929, in Ocheyedan, Iowa. She graduated from Harris High School with the class of 1947. Carole was united in marriage to Burton Davis on November 27, 1947, in Ocheyedan. They moved to Worthington, Minnesota and Carole worked at different restaurants including the A&W. She later co-owned C&E Café in Manson, Iowa with her cousin, Eunice Anderson for three years before returning back to Kinbrae, Worthington, Minnesota area. Following Burton's passing in 1992, Carole made her home in Sioux Falls where she became quite active. She was a longtime volunteer at Avera McKennan Hospital. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, reading, and was an avid crossword puzzle completer. Above all she was a loving wife, mom, and "great great" to the grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Etta; husband, Burton; and brothers, Richard and Russell.
