Graveside services for Dorothy Weston Phelps, age 100 of Shreveport will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 28, 2000 at Forest Park Cemetery under the direction of Osborn Funeral Home.
Mrs. Phelps was born on August 23, 1900 and died Friday, August 25, 2000. Mrs. Phelps was a resident of Shreveport and is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Kneeland Phelps, Jr. Mrs. Phelps was a resident of Garden Court Nursing Home for several years.
Survivors include one daughter, Alice Harriet Metcalf and husband, James C. (Buddy) of Columbus, GA; one son, Henry Kneeland Phelps, III and wife, Arlene of Benton, Louisiana; two sisters, Clifton Eastham of Oil City, LA and Lois Weston of Lewisville, Texas; seven grand children; and sixteen great-grand children.
