Marilyn Jean Hess Weakland 7/31/1930~2/21/2003 On the evening of Feb. 21, 2003, with her devoted husband, John M. Weakland by her side, at Peppertree Square (assisted living center) in Peoria, AZ, Marilyn was released from al her earthly suffering. Though in a state of coma, Marilyn held on to mark the date of their 52nd wedding anniversary, February 20, 2003. She is survived by her husband, John, Sun City, AZ; daughter, Susan Berdusco, Tempe, AZ; sons, John Raymond, Hollywood, FL; Norman, Peoria, AZ; brother, Marvin (Barbara) Hess, Salt Lake City; niece, Laura (Kevin) Jenkins, Fruit Heights, UT; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her son, Michael; parents, Grover and Alice Hess; brother, James; and sister, Georgeanna. A memorial service will be held Thursday, Feb. 27th, 2003 form 9-10 at Sun City LDS Stake Center, 108th Ave and Coggins, Sun City AZ. At a later date the family will have a graveside dedication at the Farmington City, Utah Cemetery. Information contact Marvin Hess. She was loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed.
