Surviving are a son, Walter E. Keller II (Tammy McCann) of Ft. Wayne; four daughters, Wanda (Lynn) Hart of Ft. Wayne, Tammy (Mark) Baloy of Salinas, CA, Marjorie (Richard) Clem of Ft. Wayne and Jennifer (Randy) Orr of Corunna; 11 grandchildren which one grandchild preceded her in death; 13 great grandchildren with one on the way; a sister, Val Jane Langohr of Ft. Wayne; a canine companion, Dottie and her equine companion, Eeyore.
Laura worked in Quality Control at Magnavox for 10 years, retired from Holsum Bakery as a merchandiser, worked as a CNA at Lutheran & St. Joe Hospitals, volunteered as a Teacher's Asistant with Turnstone, was a Med. Tech. Assistant at Parkview Hospital and worked 10 years at Prairie Heights as a Teaching Assistant in Special Education.
She was a member of Clowing with COAI, World Clowns, Chuckleberry's of Ohio, Past President of High Hopes, an active member in 4-H and the Home Extension Club, a member of the Spencerville United Methodist Church and Past Treasurer of the Spencerville Women's Group.
Calling will be held on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 5-8 pm at Riverlodge in Shoaff Park (6041 St. Joe Road, Ft. Wayne, IN). Services will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 12 noon at Bohn Chapel in Lindenwood Cemetery with Pastor Ken Herb officiating.
