She was born on August 25, 1953 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Don S. and Margaret Lee Majors.
Marcia is preceded in death by her parents.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Anthony Powell; her children Amy Meade and her husband, Evan of Ft. Worth, TX, Beverly Smith and her husband, Will of Owensboro, KY, Tony Powell and his wife, Amy of Amarillo, TX, and John Powell and his wife, Julia of Ocean Springs, MS; two brothers Don Majors of Roswell, GA and Ned Majors of Marietta, GA; eight grandchildren Eve, Gideon, Harper, Abby, Jacob, Stephen, Leah and Lucy; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at 4:00PM at University Baptist Church on Friday, April 18th, 2014.
