Lori A. (Gauthier) Steele age 43 of Kewaunee died on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at Bellin Memorial Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on January 21, 1970 to Wayne and Betty (Kinjerski) Gauthier.

Lori graduated from Kewaunee High School class of 1988. She went on to earn her degree in Police Science in 1992, working as a police officer for the City of Milwaukee until 2000. She was employed at Belgioioso until her illness prevented her from working.

She enjoyed riding her Harley, played sports such as softball and volleyball, loved traveling to warm places, and spending lots of time with all of her family and friends who meant so much to her.

She is survived by her parents Betty (Kinjerski) and Wayne Gauthier, Kewaunee, Sons Collin (Fiancee Macey and expected grandson) and Dustin, Sister Tina (Fiancé Leif) Sinicki, Four brothers, Dave (Renee) Gauthier, Kewaunee, Tim (Ally) Gauthier, West Bend, Matt (Janelle) Gauthier, De Pere, Tony (Naomi) Gauthier, Kewaunee, Father of her Children Hank Steele, Milwaukee, and her Special Friend, Rosendo "Gopher" Castro (Nico), Green Bay. Five Nieces and Nephews, and her parrot Charlie

She was preceded in death by Paternal Grandparents Lawrence and Letty Gauthier, Maternal Grandparents Lawrence and Marie Kinjerski, Uncle Greg Havlovitz, good friend Rob Stachura.

Friends may call at Buchanan Funeral Home in Kewaunee after 4 pm Sunday December 1st Perish wake service to be held at 7 pm by Deacon Robert Pribek. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Monday December 2nd by Fr. Dennis Drury at St Lawrence Church in Stangelville.
