Jacqueline's family moved to Chicago, IL in 1952. The family eventually settled on the South Side of Chicago where Jacqueline graduated from Dunbar High School and Robert Morris Business College.
Jacqueline accepted Christ at an early age. She was a member of Second Baptist Church of Kenosha, WI, under the leadership of the late Pastor Olen Arrington, Jr.
Jacqueline was united in holy matrimony to the love of her life George W. Moore on September 22, 1984. To this union one son was born, Kyle W. Moore. They eventually settled and made a loving home together in Zion, IL.
Jacqueline was employed with the Supreme life Insurance Company, the Equitable Insurance Company, and the Baxter Corporation (Gene Therapy Division) from which she took an early retirement.
Jacqueline was devoted and lovingly supportive of her entire family. She was an amazingly strong woman. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling. Through God's grace she fought the good fight of faith. Her sweet joyful spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. We will truly miss her.
Jacqueline leaves to cherish her loving memories and carry on her warm spirit: her soul mate and faithful husband, George W. Moore; devoted son, Kyle W. Moore; one step-daughter, Toya Henderson of Raytown, MO; two sisters, June (Tommy) Sinkfield of Kenosha, WI and Frances Hunter of Zion, IL; two brothers, William L. (Claudette) Puckett of Zion, IL and Charles George of Chicago, IL; mother in-law, Annie L. Moore of Kansas City, MO; two cousins, Joyce (Norman) Carr of Chesapeake, VA, and Ronald (Tammy) Smith of Round Lake Beach, IL; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law, and a host of nephews, nieces, friends and special friend, Dr. Nancy Nora, Nephrologist at Highland Park Hospital.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents, William and Catherine Puckett; 4 brothers, Donnie Puckett, Spencer Puckett, Kirby Puckett and Ronnie Puckett; one aunt, Salitha Smith and one uncle, Roy Smith.
A Celebration of Her Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, April 19, 2014 at North Shore Church of Christ, 326 Julian Street, Waukegan, IL. Brother Terry Atwater, Officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be at Warren Cemetery, Gurnee, IL.
