BRYARLY, Helen E. (Age 97)

Passed away April 11, 2014 in Davenport, WA formerly of Harrington, WA.

Helen was born on April 6, 1917 in Condon, OR to Will and Maude Evans. She grew up in Fossil, OR and attended school graduating from Fossil High School.

She married Charles "Sox" Bryarly on October 31, 1948 in Harrington, WA where she continued to live until five years ago when she moved to Serene Meadows in Davenport where she resided until her death.

Helen is survived by two children Mike (Michelle LeVar) Bryarly and Judy (Monte) Robertson along with three grandchildren Denise, Paige and Erica, four great-grandchildren and a soon to be born first great-great-grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Charles "Sox" Bryarly in 2006 and two sisters.

Helen was a rural mail carrier for 30 yrs. in both Harrington and Almira. She was a member of the Bluestem Grange, taught quilting at a booth at Expo 74 World's Fair in Spokane, WA and was involved in several quilting groups in Lincoln County, has had quilts displayed at the MAC in Spokane, WA and one was given to First Lady Betty Ford who donated it to the Smithsonian Institution where it is still on display, she also enjoyed her flower garden.

Graveside services will be held on Friday April 18, 2014 at 4:00 PM at the Hillcrest Cemetery, Harrington, WA. Memorials may be made to the Harrington Library or Cemetery Fund.
