Janet Brown Lycan, 85, of Naples, Fla., formerly of Springfield, died at 4:10 a.m. Sunday in Naples, Fla.
She was born July 30, 1905, in Modesto, the daughter of Leonard G. and Ida Vancil Brown. She married Dr. William H. Lycan in 1931 in Springfield. Preceding her in death were two sisters, Ruth Staley and Lois Stowers; and one brother, Harlow.
Surviving are her husband, William; a son, William; a granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Naples Presbyterian Church, Naples, Fla. Burial will be in Paris, Ill.
