Mrs. Prouse died of heart problems Monday in a Portland hospital. She was 93.
She was born Dec. 14, 1897, in Central City, Colo., where she grew up and went to school. She married William Prouse in 1918. She had lived in Portland since 1952 and was a member of the Portland Christian Center. Her husband died earlier.
Survivors include her sons, Gerald of Beaverton and Albert of Golden, Colo.; daughters, Betty Sidwell of Milwaukie, Yvonne Day and Sylvia Wright, both of Portland, and JoAnne Brockman of Everett, Wash.; brother, Charles Bishop, and sister, Ada Moore, both of Denver; 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren."
