Delmar P. Bullington, age 78, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014.
He was born September 16, 1935 in Barling, AR. to the late Joe and Eva Bullington.
He was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 4 brothers, and his son Del.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marilyn. They remained sweethearts who still held hands through 57 years. He is also survived by his brother Jimmy (Geneva), his daughters Melissa and Marla, his granddaughters Elizabeth (Nick), Heather (Adam), and Ryanne, his grandson Trace, and great grandchildren Eva, Evelyn, Cassius, and his faithful dog Taffy.
Funeral service will be held Friday, April 18, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Barling with burial at Oak Valley Cemetery.
The visitation will be held Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Lewis-Roberts Funeral Chapel on Kelley Highway from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Adam Anderson, Nick McCann, Roger and Randall Bullington, Eddie and Robbie Abel, Mark Bailey and David Freeman. Honorary pallbearers will be Tracy King, Joe Bullington and members of the Senior Men's Sunday School Class at FBCB.
