Dorothy Irene Smith, 91, Clinton, Indiana, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away on April 12, 2014. She was born in Portland, IN on January 28, 1923 to the late Chancey C. and Velma E. (Arnold) Emery. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Smith; son, Larry D. Smith and her sisters, Annie Cex and Leona Cex. She is survived by her children, Darlena S. (Rick) Gains, Charles, Terry L. and Dennis W. Smith; 9 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary , followed by a funeral services at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
