Robert Henry Arey1939 - 2014Robert H. Arey age 74 passed away on April 11, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center. Bob was born on August 31, 1939 in Portland, Maine.

He moved to southern California in his early teens and met, fell in love with and married the love of his life, Judi Wood. Bob and Judi were married for 51 years. Judi, their two older children, daughter-in-law and two of their grandchildren were by his side at his passing. Bob was a Catholic man and is now in the loving arms of his heavenly father.

Bob was a loving husband, father and a friend to many.

Bob spent his whole life as a hardworking man. He served his county in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1965.

He also dedicated 35 years serving the people of California as a fire fighter and then a fire captain with the California Department of Forestry.

Bob is survived by his wife Judi, three children, Audra Wilcox (Jim), Jason Arey (Tammy), and Anna Arey, Four grandchildren, Jessica Wilcox, Ashley Arey, Robert Wilcox and Sierra Arey, a brother, Leonard Arey (Barbara), two nephews, Tony Arey and David Arey, a brother-in-law and two sister-in-laws, whom he was like a father to, Ed Abbott, Janelle Shackelford and Venita Winslett.
