LORAINE LOCHTE, 85, went to be with her Lord on April 13, 2014. She was born in Luckenbach, TX on October 3, 1928. She obtained a teaching certificate from Texas Lutheran College during WWII and taught at Bear Creek School near Fredericksburg until she married. She and her late husband, Elgin, moved to Houston, and remained there until they retired in 1983, moved to Bellville, then returned to Houston in 2005. She is survived by her children, Glen Lochte and wife Janet, Neal Lochte and wife Amy, Marcie Luber and husband Greg, and Kristine Allen and husband Thomas; ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Elgin, parents Ernst and Thirza Fiedler and brother, Clifton Fiedler. Visitation will be at Waltrip Funeral Home, 1415 Campbell Rd. on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A Victory Celebration service will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 10:00 am, at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1515 Hillendahl, Houston, Tx. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Mark Lutheran School.
