Rena M. Biddle, 89, of 308 East South Street, Carmichaels, died at 9:30 a.m. Friday, October 12, 1973, after an extended illness. Born February 5, 1884, at Garards Fort, she was the daughter of N.M. and Katharine Reynolds Biddle. She was a lifelong resident of the Carmichaels area, and was a member of the Greene Valley United Presbyterian Church where she was very active in church organizations while her health permitted. For several years Miss Biddle taught school in Carmichaels and Cumberland township schools. Surviving are one brother, N. Harvey Biddle of Carmichaels, a sister, Mrs. John W. (Alice) Hathaway of Carmichaels, and several nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Carl and William are deceased.
