She graduated from North High School and received her BA from the Ohio State University. Marcia was born to be a teacher and spent 45 years following that calling. She touched the lives of countless young students and was a favorite among them.
Marcia was equally passionate about learning and her greatest passion was as a Master Gardener. The beautiful grounds at their home on the river in Hague, VA will be a lasting memorial and tribute.
Marcia is survived by her husband, Bob, whom she dearly loved; her mother, Ethel Lauffer; her brother, Mike (Pam) Lauffer; her sister, Mari (John) Holcomb; and half-sister, Beverly O'Brien; her nieces and nephews and many good friends.
