HOLLY RIDGE--Harvey William Grant, 77, died Sunday, April 13, 2014.

Funeral will be Thursday, April 17, at 2 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive with Pastors Janice Rouse and Ed Wilson officiating, followed burial in Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive. Visitation will be Thursday during the hour before the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Grant had served in the U.S. Air Force, was a former Fayetteville resident, and was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church of Fayetteville.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Williams Grant; two sons, Douglas Harvey Grant, and Kevin Aubrey Grant and wife, Sherry, all of Fayetteville; a daughter, Mary Shannon Autry and husband, Dale, of Fayetteville; two step-daughters, Pamela J. Parrott and husband, Duane, of La Grange, and Kim J. Wiggins and husband, Steve, of Goldsboro; three grandchildren, Joshua Hubert, Weston Grant, and Owen Grant; four step-grandchildren, Billie Frances St. Marie, Beverly Grandy, Connor Caviness, and Katie Caviness; and five step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Aubrey Grant and Nancy Ophelia Brown Grant; two brothers, Charles Grant and Thomas Grant; and a young sister, Mary Katherine Grant
