A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, Mrs. Green was employed by Duke Energy and recently retired after 36 years of employment. She was a very kind, loving, and caring mother and grandmother. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her mother, Edith Clayton; two sons, Cameron Green, Loren Green; two grandsons, Chandler Green and Mason Green; two brothers, Harry Clayton and Donald Clayton; sister, Shirley Harrelson; one niece; five nephews; three great-nephews; and seven great-nieces.
Cryptside services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum with Reverend Shannon Owen officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
