Ellen Ruth Gallien Ellis, 87, of Florence, passed away Jan. 1, 2017, at E.C.M. Hospital. She was a member of Whitten's Crossroads Methodist Church, Wayne County, Tennessee.
Mrs. Ellis was preceded in death by her husband, James Phillip Ellis; stepgrandson, Jeffery Lynn Ellis; and a stepgreat-grandson, Nathaniel James Ellis; and parents, Clarence and Mae Gallien.
She is survived by her sisters, Marcie Faye Foxx, Imogene Gallien Womble, Helen Mae Byler, and Maudie Elaine Gallien; stepchildren, Sherry Henning (Greg), Vickie Radar (Randy), James Phillip Ellis II (Sandra), Rhonda Ellis Howell (Randy), and Daniel Wayne Ellis (Sheila); stepgrandchildren, Phil Ellis (Chanda), Mikey Ellis, Leslie Milner (Rob), and Alana Ellis; stepgreat-grandchildren, Ethan Ellis, Will Milner, Avery Milner, Landon Cantrell, Evie Fowlkes, and Mason Ellis; nieces and nephews, Patricia Foxx Young (Charles), Edgar D.
