William Franklin Brewer, retired stock buyer, died Saturday,
at 11 P.M., at the Highlands Community Hospital following a lingering illness. He resided on Rt. 73 just north of Hillsboro.
Services will be held Tuesday at 2 P.M., at the Evans funeral home, with burial following in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
He is survived by four sons; Leslie, near Greenfield, Harley near Greenfield, Norman of Cincinnati, and Robert of Lawrenceburg, Ind.; three daughters, Mrs. Nellie Armstrong of Dayton, Mrs. Emma Sams [ Anna ] of Boston, and Mrs. Freda Louderback [ Lutherbeck ] of Lawrenceburg, Ind. and five brothers.

She did use the last name Slater when she married her first husband, Urban Sams in Highland County, Ohio. She and Urban had one daughter, Norma. Urban, died in 1951 and she met and married Fred Wayland Abercrombie in 1982.
