Mrs. Emma Crouch Burgon, 71, died Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Cox, Salt Lake City.

She was born at Greenwich, England, March 3, 1957, and came to Utah at the age of 15. She had resided in Union for fifty years and was very active in church work during her life. She had served as secretary of the Relief Society, ward president of the Primary association and was first president of the West Jordan Stake Primary.

Besides Mrs. Cox, she is survived by four sons, Willard C. Burgon, Heber J. Burgon, Albert E. Burgon and Horace W. Burgon, all of Union and a daughter Mrs. Emma Greenwood, East Midvale; thirty-six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Charles D. Crouch. Billings, Mont., and F. E. Crouch, Salt Lake, also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Union ward chapel.
