Sandra Rene Sharp was born in Seattle on July 9, 1963 to Chuck and Sue (Lane) Sharp. She was the youngest of three girls. Sandy grew up in North Seattle with her family and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1983.

She then went on to earn a Culinary Certificate from North Seattle Community College. Sandy worked in the food service at Seattle Children's Hospital and Pinehurst Nursing Home. In 1996 she moved to Anacortes with her parents to be closer to her sisters and nieces and nephews. Sandy worked at various jobs, including the Calico Cupboard and the Deception Pass Café.

She loved all walks of life, but especially babies and dogs. Sandy volunteered as the "Bingo caller" at Skagit Valley Senior Village for the past several years and may be most recognized delivering the Clamdigger to local businesses. Her easy smile and loving ways will be greatly missed, but not forgotten.

Surviving family members are her parents, Chuck and Sue Sharp, of Anacortes; sisters: Susan (Aaron) James, of Camano Island, and Lori (Steve) Halvorson, of Anacortes; nieces and nephews, Amber Estabrook (Gordon), of Camano Island, Kelsey, Dylan, and Cody Halvorson, of Anacortes; as well as two great-nephews; and many cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Evans Funeral Chapel in Anacortes and immediately following the service, a "Celebration of Life" will be held at the Croatian Cultural Center at 801-5th Street, Anacortes, WA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Seattle Children's Hospital (Seattlechildrens.org), or to Toys for Tots, 495 Race Road, Coupeville, WA, 98239, making checks payable to Toys for Tots Whidbey Island.
