Walter Morden Dies After Short Illness
Walter R. Morden passed away at a local hospital yesterday morning following a short illness. He was a native of Canada, aged 30 years.
He was the husband of Mrs. Viola Morden and the son of Mrs. Sarah Morden of Victor; brother of Edward Morden, Ontario, California; Victor Morden, Isleton; Albert Morden, Santa Clara; Mrs. Eva O'Day, Stockton; Mrs. Alice Ulmer, Hazel Morden, Victor.
Interment in Lodi cemetery.

Funeral Services for Walter Morden Held
Funeral services for Walter Roy Morden were held yesterday afternoon at the funeral home of O.H. Wells & Son with Rev. W.P. Thiel, pastor of Salem Reformed church, officiating.
Morden passed away Friday morning in a local hospital after a brief illness. Death was due to an infection which started in his arm. He was born in Canada and came to San Joaquin county with his parents when two years of age. He attended the Victor and Alpine schools.
He operated the Victor service station for the past 3 1/2 years, having purchased the business from his former employer, Samuel Schonkenberger.
