Waynesville - Mrs. Anna Lee "Ann" Johnson Sikes, 71, of Waynesville passed away Sunday morning (April 13, 2014) at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick after an extended illness.

Born in Brantley Co., her parents were Ares L. & Julia Odessa Parrott Johnson. She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Herrin; 3 brothers, Osburn Johnson, Hubert Johnson, and Elbrey Johnson; and 3 sisters, Berinece Ammons, Loretta Shaw and Latrelle Cox.
Mrs. Ann was a homemaker and of the Primitive Baptist faith. She loved her grandchildren and family. Also she enjoyed fishing, cooking and flowers.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Sikes of Waynesville; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard & Gail Sikes of Hortense; a daughter and son-in-law, Paula & Phillip Lott of Folkston; 8 grandchildren, Selita Lynn(Zack), Jacob Herrin, Foster Lott, Madelyn Lott, Matthew Griffin, Luke Griffin, Johnathan Griffin and Josh Herrin; a great grandchild, Rhidge Griffin; 2 sisters, Dee Stewart of Jacksonville, FL and Glory Jacobs of Folkston; and also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held Tuesday evening (April 15, 2014) from 6-8PM at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
