Wilma Marie Totten, 89, Maryville, Missouri, died Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Heritage Village, Platte City, Missouri.

Wilma was born July 13, 1924, in Topeka, Kansas to Tony and Mable Lister McElroy. She married Gerald Totten September 4, 1943, in Troy, Kansas.

A graduate of Quitman, Missouri High School, Wilma was a Nurse Aide for Parkdale Manor, and later St. Francis Hospital, Maryville.

Wilma was a member of the First Christian Church, Mary and Martha Circle of the church and Red Hat Society.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, five brothers: Tony, Bob, Hershel, Orville, and Ken Rex McElroy, and sister Helen Fisher.

Wilma is survived by two sons: Gerald "Roger" (Lois) Totten, Maryville and Richard Eugene (Myra) Totten, Coachella, California; fifteen grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren; three brothers: Tim McElroy, Skidmore, Lloyd McElroy, Burlington Junction, Leonard McElroy, Claremore, Oklahoma; four sisters: Pauline Hoyt, Burlington Junction, Dorothy Hughes, Coupland, Texas, Flossie Breach, Sharpsburg, Iowa and Lena Hecker, Denver, Colorado;

Visitation is 1:00-2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 15, 2014, First Christian Church, Maryville, followed by the Funeral Services at 2:00 PM. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Maryville, Missouri.
