Funeral services for Mr. Aubrey Larry Brooks will be Saturday April 12, 2014, at 2:00, with visitation from 5-9 Friday April 11, 2014 and continuing Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until service at South Central Baptist Church, with Rev. Keith Dowden officiating, interment will be at South Central Cemetery, all under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro, LA.

Mr. Brooks was a veteran of the Navy, and a retired Operator of heavy equipment.

He was born on January 3, 1939 and passed from this life on April 8, 2014.

He was preceded in death by, his parents Charlie and Myrtle Brooks, brother Charles "Buddy" Brooks and sister Elsie Brooks Lemoine.

He is survived by, wife Elsie Stephens Brooks, daughters Joy Brooks Higgins and husband Ralph and Judy Brooks, son Larry Brooks Jr. and wife Nancy, grandchildren Saylor Higgins and Noah Higgins, brother Bill Brooks, sister Gay Reynolds and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Pallbearers will be, Howard Anderson, Roy Shivor, Harold Stephens, Billy Mack Bass, Ralph Rayborn, and Johnny Duncan.

Honorary Pallbearers will be, Bill Mulkey, Glen Morgan, and Buddy Hilbun
