Clayton – Floyd "Guy" Phillips, age 61, died Friday, April 11, 2014 at his home. Born March 10, 1953 in Johnston County he was a son of Melba Jean Phillips Pittman of Kenly and the late Lloyd Guy Phillips. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Renee Phillips, at the young age of 24.
Funeral services will conducted at 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2014 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. just prior to the service. Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in Kenly Cemetery in Kenly.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his brother, Russell Phillips and wife Sandra of Clayton; sisters, Connie Phillips of Micro, and Pam Sawyer and husband Sandy of Clayton; nieces and nephews, Daniel Sawyer, Amanda Harrington, Rusty Phillips, Crystal Allen, and Angela Underhill; and great nieces and nephews, Mclain Harrington, Macy Harrington, Dalton Allen, and Jadon Allen.
