News was received here this week that Mrs. S.C. West was dead at her home in Snyder, Texas, having passed away last week. Mrs. West was born and raised in this community and moved to Texas with her husband about twenty years ago. She was the oldest sister of Messrs. W.W. and J.A. Dobson. Friends of the former days will read the news with regret. The deceased was past 84 years of age at the time of her death.
