Mr. Clyde Lamar Berry, age 81 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Friday, April 11, 2014.

Born Saturday, September 17, 1932 in Hudson, Louisiana, he was manager of Carpenters Department Store for 26 years and was retired from Nichols. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church where he served as deacon, Sunday school teacher and church secretary/treasurer.

Mr. Berry was preceded in death by his Parents, Marshal and Eva Berry; Son, Vicky Berry; Sister, Jennie Whitehead; Brother, Huey Berry; Grandson, Joshua Berry.

Those left to cherish his memory include his Wife, Jeane Berry, Winnfield, LA; Daughter, Sherry Berry, Winnfield, LA; Sons, Jay Berry, Charlotte, NC and Rocky Berry and wife Pattie, Tioga, LA;

Grandchildren, Gabrielle Moss, Brandon Berry and Summer Berry; Brothers, Billy Ray Berry of Winnfield and Jimmy Dale Berry of Natchitoches; Brothers-in-law, James R. Johnson of West Monroe and Clifford D. Whitehead of Winnfield.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 14 at Southern Funeral Home, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM , and again on Tuesday, April 15 at First Assembly of God Church from 12:00 PM until time of services.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at First Assembly of God Church with Rev. John Martin and Rev. Kenneth Stanfill officiating. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories, in Winnfield.
