Arthur Ruben, Sr., 69, died at his home Saturday evening following a lingering illness.
He was a native of Germany, but had lived in Utah for the past thirty three years, coming to the United States when a young man. He was a prominent dealer in sewing machines, a member of Mt. Moriah Lodge No. 2, Free and Accepted Mason, Utah consistory No. 1 and El Kalah temple, Mystic Shrine.
He is survived by his widow, four children, Mrs. Violet Walker, San Diego, Calif.; Mrs. Mabel R. Rittenberg, Philippine Islands; Edward Ruben and Arthur Ruben, Jr., both of Murray. One grandchild also survives. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
