She married Harmon Gilson BROWN, son of Charles BROWN and Ann CHRISTIAN on 23 Sep 1852, in Cayuga, N.Y. Harriet died Jan. 25, 1865, while Harmon serving in Williamsburg, VA, during Civil War, they had 3 children, Dr. John Charles Brown, George Hoyt Brown & Jennie E. Brown--I have history on these children. Harmon Gilson Brown was born 10 FEB 1830 in Mexico, Oswego, New York, and died 20 AUG 1894 in Doland, Spink, South Dakota. Harriet died while Harmon was away in VA during the "Rebellion".
