Bessie E. Brobst Hansen, widow of Edward Hansen, died yesterday at her Lehighton home. She was 78. Born in Carbon County East Penn Township, she was the daughter of the late James and Regina Mengel Brobst. Her husband died in 1957.
Survivng are a daughter, Sadie, at home, and two sisters, Mrs. Sallie Ackley of Phillipsburg and Mrs. Mary Cunfer of Slatington.
Services will be 2 pm Thursday in the Kegel Funeral Home 145 Delaware Ave Palmerton with calling hours 7-9 pm tomorrow.
