Calvin Everett Hendricks, 68, of Taylorville, Illinois, owner and operator of Hendricks Heating and Electric Eel Service, Taylorville, died on Tuesday, November 2, 1993. He was a member of Davis Memorial Christian Church and VFW Post 4495, Taylorville. He was inducted into the United States Army in November of 1943, at the age of 18.

Mr. Hendricks is survived by his wife, Mary Marguerite (Hancock); sons, Calvin Jr. of Salem, Oregon, and Charles E. Hendricks of Taylorville; daughters, Janice Lorraine Foster of Sheridan, Arkansas; Nancy Adams of Warrensburg, Illinois; Cindy (John) Carnahan of Kirby, Missouri; Marcia Jean (Joe) Collins, Mary Jane Hendricks, and Shelly Beth (Shawn) Thunhorst, all of Taylorville; brothers, James Delbert Hendricks and Herbert Keith Hendricks, both of Taylorville; sister, Edna Marie Neighbors of Taylorville; 12 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herschel Adam Hendricks and Mabel Jane Shake Hendricks of Taylorville, 5 brothers, Adam Lewis Hendricks, Dwight Herschel Hendricks, Raymond Leroy Hendricks, John Thomas Hendricks, and William Wayne Hendricks, and two grandchildren, Tommy Dean Adams, Jr., and October Rene Adams. Services were held on Friday, November 5th at the Connolly-McClure Funeral Home, Taylorville. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville, Illinois.
