Mrs. Tammy Sue Gray, age 45 of Gray Rd., Blairsville, GA passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Union General Hospital following a brief illness. Tammy was born on Nov. 11, 1968 in Blairsville, GA., the daughter of Keiter and Betty Foster. Tammy had been employed with Union County School System. Tammy loved children. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. Tammy and her family attended Liberty Baptist Church.
Surviving Tammy are her loving husband and best friend, Fred Gray of Blairsville, her parents, Keiter and Betty Foster of Blairsville, son, Will Gray of Nashville, TN., daughters, Lauren Gray of Blairsville, Leanna Gray of Blairsville, son, Landen Gray of Blairsville, one sister and brother in law, Teressa and Randy Brown of Blairsville, two brothers and one sister in law, Terry and Jodi Foster of Blairsville, Jeff Lunsford of Blairsville, one grand daughter, Dixie Gray of Blairsville father in law and mother in law, Joe and Julie Gray of Blairsville, many other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Rogers, Rev. Scott Cole and Rev. Danny Parris officiating. Special music will be presented by Larry Lee, Nell Lee, Joe Gray and Julie Gray. The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers, Randy Brown, Andrew Brown, Mitchell Foster, Paul Puett Jr., Bruce Gray and Gary Canup. Interment will follow in the Ivy Log Baptist Church Cemetery.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m.
