He is survived by his father, eight brothers and ten sisters, Bernadette West, Caleana Keys, Duke Nelson, Enden Nelson, Clarke Ray, Francine Miller, Amber Watts, Greta Nelson, Hank Nelson, Ingrid Nelson, Laura Arias, Jacob Nelson, Katrina Nelson, Bethany Ray, Max Nelson, Nada Nelson and Obed Nelson.

He was preceded in death by his mother, step-mother Eileen, grandparents and a brother.
