MARY CLAVERS

Mrs. Theodore Clavers, nee Mary Kurscheid, 83, died last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Geiger, Brillion. She had been ailing for the past year, after falling and breaking her hip. Funeral services will be held from the St. Mary's Catholic Church at Brillion. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Clavers was born May 3, 1858 in the town of Wilson, Sheboygan County. She was married June 9, 1885 to Theodore Clavers. The couple lived for three years in the town of Wilson and then moved to a farm 3 ½ west of Brillion. Her husband preceded her in death Dec. 3, 1916. On April 1, 1921, Mrs. Clavers retired from farm life, the homestead being taken over by her son, Theodore and she moved to this village, where she has resided with her daughter, Mrs. Henry Geiger. Decedent was a resident of Brillion for 53 years. She was a member of the Christian Mothers' Society and a charter member of the St. Mary's church.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Geiger, two sons, Theodore and John, both of Brillion, and several grandchildren. One daughter, Mrs. Joseph Urban preceded her in death Nov. 7, 1931. She was the last surviving member of her family, A brother and two sisters preceded her in death.
