Vivian "Sally" M. (Babington) Harrison , 89, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Fahrney-Keedy Home & Village in Boonsboro.
Born on June 28, 1924 in Boonsboro, she was the daughter of the late William M. and Vada M. (Poffenberger) Babington.
Sally was a 1943 graduate of Boonsboro High School.
She retired from the Washington County Commissioner's office after 21 years as a data processor. She had also worked at Fairchild Industries and Victor Products Corporation.
Sally served as a volunteer at Reeders Memorial Home in Boonsboro and was also a member of Friends of Reeders Auxiliary and AARP. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Boonsboro.
She is survived by her twin children, Connie M. Ford and Craig E. Harrison, both of Boonsboro; and two grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lena V. Renner.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 14, 2014 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro. Rev. Joseph I. Donovan, III will officiate. Final resting place ceremonies will follow at the Christ Reformed Church Cemetery in Middletown, Maryland.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
